Warrant Officer, Stephanie Abdon presenting her gift, painted by Dale Turner, to Canadian Ambassador, Riccardo Savone in Brazil.
"When I was in Manitoba for my house hunting trip, I recently visited the Pulse Gallery at the Forks on Canada Day and came across one of your pieces that I admired. At that instant I decided to purchase your Poppy Series piece as I was looking for a work of art to give to the Canadian Embassy as a token of tremendous gratitude and appreciation of the support I received during my tenure as the Canadian Defence Attaché Assistant in Brazil."

We love to see your photographs of what happens with the art work once it leaves our gallery!
Thanks for the photos, Stephanie.

Bill Shoup

Bill Shoup at Culture Days 2013

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of one of our beloved artists, Bill Shoup last month. Every year during Culture Days Bill would come and demonstrate his clay sculpting techniques. His audience so loved to watch him sculpt and chat with him. One of his pieces that were so popular were his bears. Bill was a talented artist, a wonderful teacher and a lovely man. We will miss him greatly.

We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends .Béla’s Inukshuks are very popular here in the gallery, being purchased by visitors from all around the globe. He will be missed.
